These formative years are the most crucial in every child’s life. Therefore, the most important part of our program is guiding each child in building a solid foundation of self-esteem and confidence, responsibility and maturity. Good social habits, friendliness, kindness, cooperation and communication will develop as well.
When a child is treated with respect, they learn to respect themselves and others.

Bright Star Academy provides our children with rich experiences that are open ended and children are challenged to use this to form a foundation to build upon. Bright Star Academy believes in trial and error, the importance of persistence and problem solving. Children are guided to use critical thinking skills to form ideas and create a lifelong curiosity of learning.
Bright Star Academy uses art, music, movement, literature, math, science, hands on learning experiences, small, large, and individual group activities to promote the social emotional development, cognitive, language, physical development and health in young children.
CURRICULUM:
Bright Star’s curriculum is varied and challenging. The children cover many interesting themes using an interdisciplinary approach to learning. Our curriculum includes hands-on activities, Language and Creative Arts with an emphasis on Fine Art.

Reading Readiness Skills and Language Skills
(which prepare each child for their future education) Letters – Phonics – Pre-Writing Skills
MULTI-CULTURAL CURRICULUM:
With emphasis on learning about the World Around Us, holidays, kindness, appreciation and tolerance of others.
SCHOOL TIPS:
Visitation and cultural arts programs.
MUSIC AND CREATIVE MOVEMENT PROGRAM:
Given to all children by specialized instructor.

Concerts, Holiday Activities and much more.

Our outdoor and indoor play area enhances your child’s motor coordination and physical development.
